Fedex SmartPost...How long should it take

I am ordering mystuff from an online retailer and it is being shipped via 'fedex smartpost' which uses fedex to drive it to the closest USPS facility....welll....it was shipped on the 17th and i have yet to receive it. the tracking information only says that it has left WI, no further updates?

i think this shipping method sucks....also, they didnt even tell me that one of my products was backordered but (i just noticed taht on my online account with the store)....my shipping confirmation email said that my order shipped as a complete order.

A lot of times my school books come that way and it has taken as long as two weeks.

Yup, even usps media mail comes faster most of the time. Smartpost is ridiculous.

i figured for 12 bucks it would show up in just a few days, NOT a few weeks!

I recently found out about fed ex smart post....put an order in for something I needed that week for my dog before I went out of town, I paid for fed ex 2 day delivery. Somebody in the order filling department changed my shipping method by mistake and I didn't realize it until fed ex 2 day delivery hadn't come by day 3. For smart post they strap it to a turtle. It was due to be delivered the day after i got back from my trip. So expect it anywhere from 7-14 days.
