what is the best way to set up a breeding facility for guppy fry.i have a 51/2 and a 10 gal free. can i use the really cheap feeder guppies to bread or do you need to use the fancy ones? and how can you tell the sex with the feeders

you can use the cheap ones...just pick up a couple and your odds are pretty good.

If your just buying feeders I doubt a worker will take the time to sort through those crammed tanks to get you specific sexes. Just buy a dozen or so and use the males as feeders first.

Chances are you will get some pregnit females even if they were all female. Just purchase a few put in some moss and plants and let them do there thing. You will have guppies up the yeng yang
