Feeding a Raphael catfish

I feed mine Wardley Shrimp Pellets. But they will eat any food they find laying on the bottom of the tank. Just remember you need to put their food in before you go to bed as they come out when lights are off.

how to feed all of them

How much the Raphael should eat? Is it OK if does not show up for a couple of days?
When the Raphael goes out from his hiding place at feeding time it is too shy and slow to get food and The Pictus eats everything. ...and another worry is to overfeed Pictus...

raphael

I've got the spotted. I feed shrimp pellets, plankton (pellets) and algae wafers. I think they eat whatever they get to first. The oldest of my three is 16 and the youngest is 11 years old. My biggest cave only holds 2 of them, so one of my panda cories stays with the odd man out. It seems to be on a first come basis tho. It looks so funny, because the panda is smaller than the raphaels' mouth and they're buddies. I don't really remember what they looked like as babies, but as adults the spotted raphaels look like they swallowed a tennis ball. They are bigger around than they are long.

I feed mine Betta Food. they've grown huge on it and dont seem too bad off, they also cruise the tank at night looking for the bits of food that have escaped everything else..

Should raphael cats be kept in groups or will they be best left single?
They will live without rapheals, but they like company and may be a little more twards coming outside more but still very shy

We only feed our bottom feeders (in the BP less 55) shrimp pellets every 2 or 3 days. Even with all the competition for food at the bottom level my huge 5" striped is pumper than ever. we se him come out somtimes but not often and he is quit happy. his cave has a few places we can veiw him and each time we are amazed at his size because he is the length of his own cave!!
