What would be the feeding regime for 4 inch or 10 cm diameter discus be?
(How many times and what food to be feed each feeding time?)

I'm trying to learn as much as possible before getting some in about 2-3 weeks.

Thanks :)

sounds like sub adults(med).. I feed these 3 X daily..mix food. discus prefer diet a bit higher in protein.
use discus formulas , bloodworms, beef heart(if your discus like it)

Thanks peoples,
How does this feeding timetable sound?

Morning: Some type of quality Flake
Afternoon: Live or frozen foods such as bloodworms, brine shrimps, earthworms etc Night: Quality Discus Flake

Feed beef heart before every water change (every 4 days)

You have to figure out what they like.
25% of diet flakes. morning maybe.
They may refuse to eat and wait for their favourite stuff.Give them that at the end of the day.
I never had earthworms yet but that is probably the best if you can get a worm farm going.

Tetra color granules are common good priced.Frozen blood worms standard, frozen brine shirmp not that popular usually once a week to help clean out the system, however one of my fish seem to wait for the frozen brine shirmp and goes crazy for it.

Barebottom tank best,no build up of waste.

Feed as much as possible. Vac all uneaten food and w\c at least every other day. I feed ground beefheart mixed with spirulina and color enhancing flake. This food is messy vac is necessary.
