Feeding "parrot" cichs and quiet air pumps

OK trying to kill two birds with one stone.

I've had a parrot for a long time now, slow growers i know but the poor guy has trouble eating (no jokes about freaky fish). Any food easy for these guys to eat? he just seems to run into the food if it hits him in the mouth... score.

i also need a new air pump for a 30" deep 100 gallon tank, need something quiet and powerful.

my blood parrot seems to take flake food fine. I was worried at first but if you try and make sure some of the food sinks into the tank he should get some. Or you could hand feed him i did that with mine for a while too.

Rena air pumps are among the quietest out there. As far as feeding goes, have you tried Tetra Color Bits?

I hand fed some of my BP. They eat better that way. In fact, I have some BPs that grew like crazy. Some grew very slow.

all i know about air pumps is that you need a stronger one the deeper it is going to be coming out in your tank. sorry thats not to helpful
