Feeding

This is what works for me:

"Their bellies are about the size of their eyes. They are messy eaters, so it is okay to put more food then they can eat inside the tank. However what they don't eat after 30 seconds suck out with a turkey baister (new and rinced out). You need to give them a good variety, as they tend to get board with the same food, and need variety for nutrition. small snails (about the size of their eye), blood worms, black worms, river shrimp (come in fresh sealled cans), krill, ghost shrimp, Fresh and salt water frozen multipack (ask your local fish store- 1/4 cube per inch of fish), brine shrimp. There are many options. I suggest live food at first, and then slowly train them to frozen if possible.

Where'd you read that? Their stomach consists of a pleated muscle that can expand to 5x their size. It fills with water to puff. They can definately overeat & can die from fatty deposits in their liver from constantly overeating.
