I just aquired a pygmy angel for my SW tank. Before I bought him, I asked the people at the pet store to feed him, and he ate well. I brought him home and he is adjusting nicely. I was just wondering, besides grazing on the live rock and eating f/t brind shrimp, what else should I be giving this awesome little fish? Any sort of good pellets or flakes anyone has had success with? Any sort of dried seaweed? Please let me know as I want to take great care of my new little buddy! Thanks! :dance2:

My Centropyge flavicauda (white-tailed pygmy angel) eats pretty much everything. You could try high quality flake/pelleted foods, frozen foods like mysis, plankton, squid, cyclopeeze etc. and seaweeds like nori. The more variety the better IMO.

brine shrimp has very little nutritional value.you would be better off giving it mysis shrimp.i feed my fish a combo of mysis and ocean nutritoin formula 2,i put a few drops of vita chem and garlic guard on the food and let set overnite.
