How do you get air out of the lines in this line of filters? My gosh, this is noisy what with all the air whooshing (note the technical term) through the lines and spitting out at the spray bar. The tank is in our bedroom and my wife is getting a little annoyed.

Air Leak?

I have not had any probs with my XP-3. Check for air leaking into the filter. It may not have seated properly (top of filter..).

... on an un-related note...

I love priming my Fluval. It's really easy (way easier than those self-priming units). All I do is put one end in the water and suck like hell through the other end Then just spit out the tank water that I just ingested back into the tank.

Maybe I should go brush my teeth...
