Well i got the 50 gal tank that is slowly moving up in size. I got 6 turbo snails and 30 lbs or so live rock along with a few nice frags. I also bought a watchman goby to help move some sand around and took all the advice that i got and went to go shopping. I was looking at some skimmers power assisted and air stones and so fourth in the pet store and a guy said he would sell me a whole set up for $150. It is used but so i got the wet dry filter with skimmer and pumps so i hope i am set even though i am told wet dry not needed.

The questions are for now:
1. water circulation? I now have a 75 gal/hr power head and a 300 gal/hr on the filter system. Is that enough?

2. What woud be the next step for the tank? more live rock any fish or other animals that i may want to look at for a tank that has been set up for reefs

id get another pwr head you want close to 10x your gallons for water flow

if your planning on setting up a reef i would work on getting the rest of the live rock first it would be better to get the rock in place before adding alll your corals then having to move them later.
is your lr you are getting cured (fresh) or does it need curing? if it needs curing you will have to cure it in a different container now that you have animals in your tank. adding partially cured or uncured rock can make a ammonia spike that you do not want.
