So my LFS finally got me my female Endlers!!!
It took them a bit but I knew they'd pull through, they always seem to :)
So I have 3 waiting for me at the store.. I'm going to let the males do their thing at the store, then take them home when the females are pregnant so I don't have to buy the expensive males too... Hehe, I'm cheap right now.
Anyway, just thought I'd let you all know!

bah... lucky.

right now i just have one female, though she DID have babies, im hoping some of them are female. (she had 22.)
i also have 4 unrelated males, so...
*crosses her fingers* im just hoping they grow up to be nice healty females and have lots of endler babies for me!!

That's cool, Ems..clever idea on using the store's "Stud Service", too!

I actually think that the females would be more expensive since they are not readily for sale in the market. And buyer beware there are a lot of mix breeds out there. I find that comparing female endlers with guppies, the endlers have a greenish sheen to them while the guppies are either grey or yellow.
I do hope that you do have true endlers but if you dont, you may actually need to order those from a true breeder, if you care to get some email addies, just let me know.

Thanks all.
Trust me, these are true Endlers, thats why it took so long for me to get them :)
My LFS has a "true breeder" and he didn't want to sell any because of the fact that they could be crossed with guppies. He normally only sells the males.
I definitely wont be mixing the two.
Thanks again :)
