They are fading in color. I saw three of them out and they have faded to a pinkest tone with pale stripes. Can't be good. Was out at the parents' house tonight and picked up some fresh water, hope that'll perk them up.
Finally something visably wrong with my kuhli loaches.

Hmmmm...then again it might be their reaction to me coming home and turning on the room lights, they are getting darker again before my eyes.
I guess I just don't know these fish well enough with their habits...I see something different and assume they are sick.

Kuhlis lose most of their dark coloring in darkness. This is nothing to worry about. Try checking with a flashlight in the dead of night. I bet they're totally washed out.
