My 90 gal has the following inhabitants
2 spotted Pictus
1 Carpinte
1 Oscar (little still)
1 Jewel cichlid
1 slavini
1 pink tail chelaceas (sp)
and a striped raphael
I know it will be overstocked but the jewel and probably the salvini also will be going to the LFS for credit. Dont like them that much thats why I just got the Oscar and the pink tail was stunted about 3 years ago and is only a little guy at 4"
anyway the striped rapheal and the oscar are the only new inhabitants of the tank. Well yesterday morning all fish looked fine but this morning I noticed all that the left fin of my salvini was all but gone and my now oscar had a bunch of slits in his tail fin. Any idea on who could be doing this my only though is the striped rapeal but ive never heard of them being fin nippers. I would suspect fin rot but it was so quick unless I just missed it. Anyway im treating with melafix and hopeing for the best.
