Hi, this is my first post here. I am a member of another forum but I wanted to get as many opinions as possibe.

I was considering breeding Kribs to feed the fry to my ABF. I was going to have the tank set up specifically for them with sand substrate, lots of lowlight plants, coconut shells for "caves", and peat colored water. However, I have recently considered starting a a kind of Japanese Garden themed tank. I don't have a pond. :) So, my question is should I still do the kribs or is there a fish I could still feed my ABF that wiould look really cool with that type of theme? It is a 10 gallon tank, btw.

Thanks in advance.

personally i would feed the abf feeder guppies or something like that, easier to breed also...

Yeah, I thought about the livebearers but don't really want to do them. My ABF is in a 29g and other than that I don't have any other tanks. So, I want this to be an interest tank as well. Not that those cute little livebearers aren't interesting, but you get the point. ;)

I assume you want to breed fry as an occasional treat? Do kribs breed fast enough to be a constant supply of food? I know they are liveberrers but have you thought about Endler's? they are guppy like but much more unique in the trade right now. Cool little fish.
