Fish and Music ?

This is a question i have always wanted to ask, and i never thought about it until now.

I have a very large stereo in the same room as my Main Tank (50gallon) with all my home theater stuff etc etc.

But my question I've always been meaning to ask is, does music irritate fish? How about bass and louder music?

I don't know why i never thought to ask this question before! I hardly ever listen to loud music at all, but i thought the question would be worth asking anyway!

I think its the same with a TV. Fish are pretty sensitive to vibrations

Actually, Bass are more partial to latin music, Basso Nova for instance. I've noticed that trout like Salmon-chanted evening. No fish likes wrap music, though.

they would hear it but that doesn't neccessarily mean they'd dislike it. who's to say it's not like a massage? I guess it depends on how loud
