Recenty my fish have been dying. I have (had) 3 swordtails. I have an infestation of snails in my aquarium which is the reason i think they are dying. I am sure the water is correct. Does anyone know if snails could be causing the death of my fish for some reason?

Nope. Snails will eat dead fish but that is about it. I have tons of snails in my aquarium and they all live in peace. Most people that have planted aquariums have snails, at least for a time. I would guess the fish are dying of something else.

What is your water change regieme (how much, chemcials added), what are the numbers of pH, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, hardeness (gh and kH)? What do you feed your fish and how often? How long have you had these fish? What other fish are in the tank and what size tank?

Fully agreed, It wouldn't be the snails. However, if you have an "infestation " that is a good indicator of a problem of some type in the tank. Snails only poulate a tank to the available food source, and therefore won't have a population explosion without excess food.
