FS:Fish and tanksin Ohio *UPDATED-check last reply*

For Sale- I'm upgrading to a 120. I'm not keeping the fish that come with it and additionally I'm selling some of my own fish and tanks. I'm in Columbus and would prefer pick-up for everything.

Fish for sale:
10” orange blood parrot - $20
2 11” pimelodus pictus catfish - $15
2 4” clown loaches - $15
1 large silver dollar - $5
1 9” pleco - $5
The above can be seen in the tank here - http://www.signalandnoise.net/pics/fish/120.jpg

3 3” yoyo loaches - $15
Unidentified pleco - $5
3 2” Bolivian rams - $15
Pair breeding kribs (red female, yellow male) - $10
2 2” cryptoheros spilurus – one is definitely a female, I think the other is a male, but I’m not sure. - $10
Pair DR apisto agassizi - $30

Tanks and accessories for sale:
55 G. Picture here - http://www.signalandnoise.net/pics/fish/Tank.jpg I bought this tank used. Condition is okay. It’s been re-sealed once, but hasn’t leaked the entire time I’ve had it. On the lip of the tank where the hood sits, there’s a small melted spot (less than an inch long). However, just looking at the tank it looks fine. The tank itself is probably only worth about $50, but it has about 40 lbs of eco-complete, about 20 lbs Schultz Profile, and 20 lbs black gravel. Used for about three months. Comes with new Aquclear 300 filter (2 months old), 150W Ebo-Jaeger heater, lights and hoods, and black blackground. All driftwood in the picture is included as are the plants if wanted – they need a little TLC as my sevs have been treating them as midday snacks for awhile now. $110

Stand for above 55 gallon – this is a vintage record player I picked up from the thrift store. Very sturdy. $25
20L tank. Comes with glass lid, heater, new whisper filter, orange and black gravel mix, slate, artificial and live plants. Currently housing the apistos with 4 tetras (free if you want them). $35
150W Ebo-Jaeger heater - $15
2 24” 55W Power Compact lights with 8 month old bulbs - $60
50’ Python - $25
2 pieces large driftwood - $25
15 gallons natural-looking gravel - $5

Email me at mmartin3489@wowway.com if interested.

Your prices for used equipment and fish are a little steep. You might get more replies if you lower them.

I'm doing okay on the fish so far...some have sold, some haven't yet...right now the problem is that most people can't pick them up for a week or two and I'm trying to move these guys quick. As far as the 55 goes, well, it is a little steep, but the eco-complete ($50!!! - it's outrageous), filter, and heater alone cost me close to a hundred so I don't feel it's too bad a price. I'll guess I'll just have to wait and see. But thanks for the advice.

Here's a picture of the blood parrot...I'm actually thinking about keeping the guy now (never been a fan of bp's but this guy's pretty cute and BIG), but I really don't have the room so I'll still consider selling him.

Just wait till you get to deal with a few dreamers..for lack of a better word. ;)

They claim to want said item..ask 50 questions about it..haggle on the price..then drop off the face of the earth just prior to pick-up or delivery.

Cracks me up...

BTW..if you end up with any unwanted plants out of your tanks..let me know. I don't have much of a green thumb, but I keep trying.

Haven't had that yet....but I'm sure I just need to give it a few days :)
I have had people ask if I could ship the 55!?!?!

No problem. If anyone buys the tank and doesn't want them, I'll pass them along. The ludwigia is in great shape - the sevs don't seem to like it all - the crypts are in respectable condition, but the vals and the anubias----whoo! They're pretty much just nubs now (and they were supposed to be the most resistant to the munchers).

Here’s the updated list. I’ve added some pictures of the fish. Also, I have offers for some of the fish, but they wouldn’t be picked up for another two weeks or so. If you can pick them up a.s.a.p., make me a lower offer than what I have listed…I’ll more than likely take it.

Fish for sale:
Blood parrot - $20 I may keep this guy (assuming he gets along with the other fish I plan to put in the tank), but if someone can give him a good home, I’ll still consider selling him.
2 Clown loaches - $15
2 Pictus cats - $10
1 large silver dollar - Free
1 9” pleco - Free

3 3” yoyo loaches - $15
Unidentified pleco - $5
3 Bolivian rams - $15
Pair breeding kribs (red female, yellow male) - $5
2 Cryptoheros spilurus – The picture is of my breeding pair. Of the ones for sale, one is definitely a female, I think the other is a male, but I’m not sure. - $5
Pair DR apisto agassizi - $25

Tanks and accessories for sale:
55 G. - $75 In addition to what I listed in the original post, I’ll also throw in an extra Ebo-Jaeger 150W heater, an air pump and plant-tabs.

Stand for above 55 gallon - $25
20L tank - $30
150W Ebo-Jaeger heater - $10
*2 pieces large driftwood* Actually I have 4 pieces now, 2 large and 2 medium - $25
15 gallons natural-looking gravel - $5

will you ship the gravel/55g? I am VERY interested if you can ship, and even more if you could lower the 55g to maybe $60? I know its not much but it would be greatly appreciated!
