Fish color fadding Help

My sailfin Tang's color is fadding and I dont know why all other fish look healthy,what do I do?
My coral beuty did the same and ended up dead.I feed them 2-3 times a day and give them a good selection.My sailfin Tang is eatting,what could be wrong?
 
Well it could be lots of things but, in this case I would suspect stress. It also could be caused by a number of different factors from overly aggressive tank mates , not enough places to hide, needing more frequent water changes etc. It's really hard to say what else do you have in your tank ? What are your water parameters?

I do regular water changes every 2 weeks 15%. I have found acording to my nitrate-nitrite test kit that this is ok.I feed mysis shrimp in the morning and spirilina/krill flake food in the evening.As far as tank mares in my 90G fish only aquarium I have 1 percula clown/1 yellow tang/ 1 naso tang/ 1 kole tang/ 1 hawk fish/ 1 blue headed wrasse/ 1 (faded in color) sailfin tang/ 1 shrimp gooby/ 1 royal garrama/ 1 Koran angel/ 1 blue devil damsel and a partridge in a pear tree.
Dont know but it seems that the feeding is ok and the water changes I think are ok could it be a ph issue I have a hard time keeping it at 8.3,I have been using a ph buffer to control it?????

My guess it is stress from too many fish (especially Tangs). You should have 1 maybe 2 tangs in a 90g. I have 2 in a 209g tank and they are the Blue and Sailfin. The general rule with Tangs is only to have 1 fish per genus. You have the Sailfin and the Yellow from the genus Zebrasoma and in a 90 there isn't much room to get away from one another. I would suggest getting rid of one of them otherwise you risk one killing the other. Tangs are not friendly fish to one another and it may be working now because they are small and the tank is too small to establish a territory but give it a few months and all hell will break loose. My honest opinion is they are probably threatening/fighting when you are not looking. And the Yellow is dominant and the Sailfin makes his colors lighter to show submissivness. Thanks for the advice now the problem is what to do with the sailfin tang?I don't know if the LFS will take him on trade or what?Especialy after 6 months of being in my Tank.I will try and ask them aand see what they say.
