I want to pick up the last fish for my 37g before I think of adding any corals. Right now I have a Royal gramma and Yellowtail damsel. I'd like a yellow watchman gobie and possible a Ocellaris or Tomato clown, but would like to know if there would be problems with these 4 fish? Is it a problem having fish that are all carnivores? I would love a tang, but i'm not even considering it in a 37g...

No problem in a tank of all carnivores. I have a 55 that has 3 juvie Lions, 2 tiny Triggers, a Black Ribbon Eel, and 4 juvie Monos. All are carnivores. I would skip on the clown, they are in the same family as Damsels and will constantly fight. I would say look into a small wrasse or another goby. Anyway, hope this helps and good luck!

A Nice Looking Wrasse Is The Dragon Wrasse Holds Some Nice Appeal When Swimming And Generally Grows Ok But Watch Out As It Likes To Take Crustaceans For Dinner

Well, I got an ocellaris and a yellow watchman goby today, and right away the damsel went after my new ocellaris. Luckily my LFS accepted a trade, so the damsel went back. I was thinking of a dwarf angel like the flame or coral beauty, would this be ok in a 37g with what I have now???

The Dragon Wrasses get to almost a foot and are terrors when adult (they constantly dig up stuff, turn over rocks etc) and will be too big for a 37. I would go with one of the smaller dwarfs. I have a Flame in a 55 and it does fine. I would look into the Eibli, Flame, and some of the other smaller dwarfs (the Coral Beauty and Bicolor will get too big for a 37). Just make sure that your tank is very established before adding one. They don't do well with fluctuations. Also most angels can and will pick on corals. Might not be the best idea if you want a bunch of corals. I've heard that 1 out of 2 will nip corals so you have a 50 percent shot of getting one that does nip vs doesn't nip. Anyway, hope this helps and good luck!
