I've always read where you could feed your Fish bits of shrimp and fresh cut Fish. What kind of fish are we talking about. Fresh or Saltwater. The reason I ask is because in some ares here at home the Mercury content in the water is high and its now advisable for humans to eat a lot of fish from these waters. I wouldn't want to feed my fish something thats not good for me.

No need to catch your own. In your part of the country the lfs's probably carry feeder ghost shrimp on a regular basis. Don't see them much up here, but I visited Tampa last year, and all lfs's had them. you can also find frozen mysis shrimp, frozen prawns, freeze-dried krill, etc at many lfs's. Alternatively, depending on the size of your fish, you might try frozen popcorn shrimp from the grocery.
