Fish during cycling

I was thinking about adding Danios and corys duriny the nitrogen cycle. Is this a good idea and how many of each would be good?

Just go with the danios....very tough fish and ideal for cycling. How big is your tank? that will influence how many you should add.

fishless cycling is the way to go, especially because when your cycle is done you can add complete the bioload, using just danios, you could possibly kill them, need to do constant water changes, and cycle to only support that many fish, read the sticky on cycling in the freshwater newbie forums for more info

I agree, but if you still want to use fish to cycle with then get about 4.
