Fish Flakes?

I have some rather old fish flakes. How long do fish flakes keep or last?

how old you talking? i wouldn't use flakes if they were more than a few months old for sure...

They are much much older than that. proabably a couple of years.

yeah, pitch em. those are no good. i would say maybe 6 months tops if they're in a vacuum sealed container.

Yeah, I use sticker type labels on food I buy. Generally speaking 3 months from the time I open it I toss it. If buying small packages seem to be too expensive in the long run you might want to see if you can find one or two people willing to split a larger package with you.
