I keep loads of ghost shrimp in my community tank, and the temp in there is 86ºF. I do add a teensy bit of iodine after each water change.
They'll serve as a clean up crew until the Discus get large enough to eat them, then they'll be dinner. Truly a multi purpose shrinp!
