I have a small landscape im making in a pot, that sits on my windowsill. I also have a little dish in the landscape thats about 4 inches across and a little more than 1/2 inches deep. Does anyone know of any really tiny, freshwater fish that like sun and warm water? id like to put some in, but i dont know if theyd survive.
Thanks
Nevie

nothing would survive. Try a fake fish or a plant/rock centerpiece.

Thanks,..if i replaced it with a larger dish, would it make much of a difference? Or would the temperature be a major problem still?

filtration would be the problem, freshwater fish need...well...as close to FRESH waste as they can get

The homes you're proposing are not very humane...It's like keeping a horse in a veal stall...These are animals, not decorations...

Thats why I asked if it was possible, before actually doing it and killing the animals. But thanks anyway, ill just fill the spot with some water plants or something.

well, kudos to you, nevie, for asking. most folks would have just done it, killed the fish, then posted a question as to why they died!
