I'm just getting home from visting my fam this thanksgiving and went to check on my both of my tanks. 20 gallon checks out okay, I look into my 10 gallon and notice one of my golden white clouds is hovering near the surface. At first he looks normal but then quickly turns and I notice he is missing an eye!! I've had this fish for over a year with no problems. The ten gallon currently has the following inhabitants: 2 black skirt tetras, 3 golden white clouds and 2 new tiger barbs. I haven't noticed any aggression from the tiger barbs but I think they may be the culprits. I don't think fish just normally lose eyes or could I be wrong? My guess is the tiger barbs and I will be removing them.
At this point the white cloud is very pale and flush. Is there any meds I can purchase or any treatment that is recommended to help the fish live through this?
