fish name

i have seen a fish its body is not very colourful but its fins look like fire, it looked like a cichlid but it was in with female guppies. what is the name of this fish

it was extremly peaceful and its fins where orange and red fade (blend from red to orange) the body was a light biege i think. it was about 2 inches

not a female beta, imagin that shape body bigger and biege (like a SAE), the fins kinda go from red and fade into yellow they look almost torn so it looks like fire. it was in with guppy females and it was there for a while. it was the only of its kind in the tank
