I don't name my fish but we call our spiny urchin "land mine" He looks just like the land mine from the Spy VS Spy cartoons in Mad Magazine We've had him since he first apeared as what looked like a little ball of fuzz. Now he's about a 2" across.
my marble angelfish is Moby
My female red empress is Milo(The previous owner named her so i kept it)
My regular BN pleco is Hoover
My albino BN pleco pair is Mr. and Mrs. Clean
Thats all for my fish, the rest havent' been named. I used to have a crayfish though that was named Dr. pinchy
I was just wondering today if I was wierd for naming my fish (and, ahem, putting effort into it)...
We have Paris the betta (named after Orlando Bloom in some movie I never saw, and because he lives in a Paris themed tank ). And Otto or Sucker the, ehm, Otto. My sis and I each gave him a name, but neither of us put much thought into it, admittedly.
I decided today our next Otto will be Chucky. Chucky the algae slayer (which for some reason sends me into peals of laughter ).
Nothing very original... just Mr. Shark (rainbow), Mr. Pleco and Shrimpy (my ghost shrimp, which I just lost. Something went wrong when he molted). The others are multiples, so they aren't named.
