Fish only swim on left side of tank. Why?

Which kind of fish? How big of tank? Any new additions?

100g planted community tank. Latest addition was a big school of rare firegreen tetras. ~18 of them. Tankmates:
~18 firegreen tetra 1" each
1 dwarf gourami male 3"
4 bushynose pleco 1",2",3",6"
? Otocinclus
?~9-12 julii cories 1"
2 german ram breeding pair 2", 1"
5 discus 2"-4"
~5 silver hatchetfish 1.5"
~4 species unkown rhinogobius 2"-3"
?~1-6 Peacock gudgeon 1"
~1-2 dwarf frog (NOT clawed) 2"
Missing a few species... for sure

fish especisally smaller fish tend to gravitate to areas where they can quickly hide..
 
from the information given, my expert opinion is that someone is throwing a party in the left side of the tank.

please post a pic of the tank and room outside the tank. did you check the params on both sides of the tank, and is there circulation between the 2 sides? is your heater on one side? does the dog always stare at them on the right side? is the left side facing north, south, east, or west? more info would be great, and it would prevent us from wasting time asking questions :)

edit: is that where the bully pleco hangs out?

Is the filter return on the right side?... perhaps they don't like the current making it more difficult to swim?
 
I am guessing either current, temperature, light, or less movement on that side of the room....
