I came home tonight and did a 20% water change, fed them, then left. When I came home 1 fish was dead(serapae tetra) with no noticable signs of any thing wrong. I then noticed on my festivum what looks like slime hanging off his dorsal fin and what maybe a bump(2 scales are darker) about 1/4" below. In some places the slime looks like hair with bubbles on it. I just put in some feeder danios 2 days ago and thats the only thing I've added to the tank. Amm. and nitrite were at 0.0 and ph is same as always. I just moved all the fish into this tank 55 gal about a week ago and have had no problems. They have all seemed pretty happy in their new home( they were a little cramped before). I don't see anything on any other fish and they are all active and seem fine. This is the first time I've lost a fish in a long time 1 1/5 years at least. I would have pic but my photo gallery isn't uploading from my camera for some stupid reason.
If anyone has any thoughts I would greatly appreciate them.
In the tank
2- peppered? corys
2- gold barbs(one looks preg)
