Is this normal behavior? It just looks funny because it's the same fish and he just swims in the current of the filter (a sumbersible one). Then another fish swims around the bottom of the filter in one place but not where anything happens I don't think. They are zebra danios.

My guppies and danios do this all the time! My old Betta used to play in the bubbles when I was running them...

Fish can be strange...

:dive:

My danio that died to stress used to swim into the filter as the spout of it was slighty under water. Very strange.

some fish love current. Take my Ghost knife, she spends hours in front of my heads and she just hovers. she even has a prefrence to what one she uses.

My Danios just love to swim in the currents when I pour water into the tank after a water change!

My guppies also play in the current from the filter ... looks fun! Riding the waves :dive2:

danios are fish that are active and prefer moving water.
keep an eye on the filter especially if you have an HOB.

I've had danios swim upstream into the filter.
'the case of the disappearing danio"
