oh yea and that setup in the pictures was built for an aquascaping contest. that guy got thirdplace!! he didnt even win!!
Those lakes were amazing. I guess there's always a larger tank, eh? I' can't imagine what 1st place looked like!:bowing:
yes-that is what my house will look like someday. all i really want is a giant arowana! i got some of my goldfish and koi from a lady who turned her swimming pool into a breeding pond. she got tired of having a big puddle of mud in her back yard and sold most of the fish to the pet store...and then gave me some 
my local fish shop in new york has an arowana that is at least 18 inches long
they keep it in a 40-60 gallon tank with a 8-10 inch gold pleco of some sort.

my arowana is atleast 26 inches probably a couple inches bigger. he would be giant if i had a bigger tank for him, its a 180. and if he would eat more than once every 2 weeks.
