I went fishing today on the Farmington River and pulled in 5 brown trout. They ranged in size from 12" up to 17". This is the first season I have fished in about 15yrs. I've been taking my kids (7 & 5yr old boys) fishing. Today I was on my own and ended up catching a lot more fish than usual...go figure...

Used to do a lot of fishing when I was a kid. I grew in Louisiana and stayed on the water. I have caugt soooooo many fish during that time. The biggest I have caught was a alligator gar that was about 3ft.I live in Mississippi now and have a family owned pond with small brim, catfish, and bass. Not as fun as fishing down the bayou but its an okay fix.

Nice man! I've been skunked every time I've been out this year. Spending next weekend camping on the Shetucket, so hoping to turn my luck around here.

my pro fly fisherman uncle was in town for the last week, caught a few snook yesterday swimming off longboat key. tried again off a dock today and all i got was some tiger gobies i found in a tire. my contribution for the year

I went striper fishing twice today.

I ended up catching 5 stripers. All of them were too small to keep, however. If I would've caught all the fish that hit the plug I was using, I would've caught 12+ fish.

I don't know where my pics are but my biggest striper was 40 inches. Caught a few that length off of Nantucket. I'll be going fishing again tomorrow and I'll try and get a few pics.

Tough fishing so far...huh. Come on up to my neck of the woods and I'll show you where the trout live...lol. I went out 3 times this year and caught 14 trout there. All catch and release except for the 15" I caught last week and the one in the picture which was a 19". I've got to get some bass fishing in my schedule sometime soon.
