125 gallon acrylic
- 2 Fluval 404 canisters with ceramic rings and sponges
- 15 watt UV sterilizer
- 3 heaters (200, 200, 250 watt), all set at 75F
- Tetratec DW18 air pump with a 10" flexible air tube buried in the substrate
- Driftwood, stone, and silk plant decorations
- 8 Blood Parrot cichlids (4-5" each)
- 1 blue channel catfish (about 5")
- 3 bala sharks (biggest is 4", others are about 2/3 that size)
- 25-50% water change and gravel cleaning every week
- Lights on 2 hours every day, tank gets about an hour of sunlight
- Water to our house comes from a well, and through a water softener, with no chlorine added
