C'mon like George Carlin said "Think about how stupid the average person is, and then realize 1/2 of them are more stupid than that!" It doesn't surprise me when some schlub on the street can't spell gourami.

isn't that the truth.

What gets me is when I see the names misspelled on tanks at an LFS.

yeah, about half of them... sometimes more.

I heard someone pronounce cichlids as "childs" once. I didn't even say anything about how many letters he dropped. I met a 6 year-old kid at an LFS who could pronounce Corydoras agassizii correctly!!!! It's not that hard people!

a long time ago i saw a CL ad where i guy wanted to get rid of a shark because of his newborn baby. its was a syno i think in the pic :duh:

LOL. apparently this allergy eater was over a foot and a half in this kids 10 gallon tank..... >.<
