I started a fishless cycle almost a week ago and then I heard about BioSpira. How can I do a fishless cycle with this stuff? What ammonia level should the tank be at when I add BioSpira and what level do I need to keep it at until it can cycle properly?

No

If you can get Biospira, just drain the tank, refill with fresh conditioned water, then follow directions which is to add the BioSpira and then stock the tank with fish.

I have read several times of people trying to combine ammonia fishless cycling with BioSpira and had problems. I suspect the high dose of ammonia inhibits some of the bacteria where the buildup of ammonia in a freshly filled tank with fish added would not as it takes a few days to get that high.

I think it's worth trying with a fishless cycle. I added it to my own fishless cycle (10gal) a few weeks into the process...and it helped to finish the cycle (my cycle had stalled.) BioSpira simply adds live bacteria to your tank...it should boost the growth of your colony well.
