So I stopped at the good old LFS today and they had Flounders for sale. They were REALLY TINY about the size of a dime. I've never heard of these!(outside of salt water) Anyone know anything about them? I was thinking of driving up there today and.. well getting afew... They're the oddest thing I've ever seen in a fresh water tank. I'm going to do the normal web search for them and see what their all about, but really! Anyone here know anything about them? Really curious if they get any bigger might be just the screwwed up fish I've been looking for LOL.

I remember freshwater flounders in the pet shop from way back. They didn't get too awfully big and ate meaty bits. They stick on things like glass pretty well, and usually stay so blended in you never notice them.
That's all I remember- it was 40 years ago!

Fish Ranch here in Houston has some freshwater flounder, small, about 1" by 1 1/2" for something like $7, IIRC. I asked if it could be in a guppy tank with Amano shrimp and was told that was not a good idea if I wanted to keep the guppies and shrimp.
