Everything I've seen and read says that more diversity in food means better looking fish.

Right now I feed my fish 3 things:

Marine flakes. Just a standard red flake food I got from Petsmart

Frozen Brine Shrimp

Frozen Mysis Shrimp

My fish are currently a clown, 2 damsels, and a thompsoni tang. This tang is said to be rare in that it doesn't just eat algae or whatever like most tangs. He seems to eat what the other fish eat.

Anyway, was wondering if there's some other goodies I can give these lil guys to keep up their color and promote good growth.

THANKS!

For tanks that have just fish, here is no need to be introducing plankton into the system as there is no corals that require it ( as long as your list is up to date Subliminal ) in there...

Formula 1 and 2 are good food, i only tend to use my home made frozen now, with garlic on it..nori aswell...

I feed my tanks, mysis, squid, mussles, rotifers, cyclopese, flake, and I forget the names of the two frozen products I got from F&S, oh yeah DT's premium reef blend also.

I order a large supply from F&S at a time to save on shipping, it costs me about $100 an order and lasts about 4 months.

Our percula(clowns) are picky, they only eat brine shrimp(soaked in Garlic extreme every feeding). I have read that brine has minimal nutrition value. I tried feeding only mysis for two days and they wouldn't touch it. I felt guilty cause I thought i was starving them so I broke down and added brine again...
What else can I offer that they might actually eat? Also Lawnmower Blenny eats both and seems really bloated after, is this normal?

Try mixing in a small amount of brine with a larger amount of mysis, no garlic the first few times then try garlic if needed. The smell of the brine should get on the mysis and hopefully get them to eat a peice or two and they will see how good it is.

Let it set in a just a tad bit of water for 10-15 min to allow the sents and whatnot to mix together.

Thanks for the answers, guys! I think formula 1 & 2 will probably be the next foods for my fish. And that should be enough diversity, I would think:

Flakes
Mysis
Brine
Formula 1
Formula 2

I try to mix it up and give them a different food each time.

Thanks JOJO, will try that but even when they do actually eat the mysis they spit it back out try it again and spit it out again...My daughter hasn't even been this picky with food. Well at least i can tell her to eat it if she don't like it, kinda hard to tell the fish that it's good for them...hehehe
