For the Star Wars fans...

I'm a HUGE star wars fan (hence my sn). I actually help run our local fan force and work with the celebrities when they are in town (not the main actors but usually chewie, boba fett, some of the lesser known prequel jedi/bounty hunters...etc etc). Pretty fun stuff. We've had dinner with Peter Mayhew quite a few times. He is like 7' 2". His costume put 6" below and above him. His wife is my height at 5' 2" which I find kind of funny. He's a really nice guy too. I've got some really neat photos with Jeremy Bulloch the first time in 20 years he was allowed to don his armor outside of the movie development. He does it regularly now for charity but seeing that real Fett...he goes from being this super nice guy to being that really intimidating bounty hunter, the transformation is incredible!
Hehe I can go on and on about Star Wars.. I used to run a web site jediquest.net but never had time to work on it anymore so gave up the domain. It was primarly about the books, funny thing was I had that domain way before an actually series came out with that same title
. My obsession has waned recently as I got busy with school and never got really active with it again after I graduated. My obsession has turned more towards my cats adn fish tank, and of course wedding planning .
Maybe when the Star Wars tv show comes out we'll get psyched up again... oh well... I have my doubts about it the show but I'll wait and see...
