- I accept revolutionmoneyexchange...You get $25 signup bonus from them (ends May 15th),
and FREE extras from ME if you sign up using this link -

- It is a major new competitor to paypal (google "complaints paypal"), hopefully breaking up their monopoly.
- In terms of security, it is an ">"account issued by First Bank & Trust, Brookings, SD, Member FDIC", also see revolution.com for more info. Finally, " the company was formed by Steve Case (former CEO of AOL) [a bunch of other high-profile people]...and is backed by Citi, Morgan Stanley, and Deutsche Bank." I did my research :grinyes:.

- Of course you can still pay via paypal/money order, just sign up through this link, so you can get a FREE bonus from me!
- Local pickup is Jersey City, NJ 07305, or I *may POSSIBLY* be able to meet in Manhattan. Prefer local, will ship most stuff.
- Willing to trade for shrimp (Red Cherry Shrimp, etc.), cultures (ex. microworm), low light plants, specific fancy guppy strains, apistos (apistogramma/SA dwarf cichlids), anything else interesting...
- Certain Free items are above a specific purchase amount...
- Please try to make a minimum of at least $10. Thanks! (it's a lot of work and time for just a couple bucks.)

OKay, so if i sign up for this i get this stuff or something? sorry im kinda confused... PM me the info

sorry for double post... but i dont think im trusting this site.. Social Security Numba??? i dont think sooo

Nope I wouldn't do it. Why do they need my social, TO STEAL MY IDENTITY!!! Not that it matters they would just give it right back.

I appreciate all your concerns, as these are the same concerns I first had, and of course I respect your individual decisions.

If you click on any of the info links, or do your own google searches, I think you'll see that they are not some shady site. Steve Case (ex-CEO of AOL) invested quite a bit of his own money into this company, as well as a [edit] ex-US Treasury Secretary, among others. link to their "About Us" page - Board of Directors.

There's a thread going on in the chit-chat forum, and Mgamer2000 has also listed it as an acceptable form of payment in his for sale threads.

I was also curious about the Social Security # thing, and I found the following info. You are in essence signing up for a type of bank account (hence, account issued by First Bank & Trust, Brookings, SD, Member FDIC), and giving your SS# as you would normally do at a bank, unlike Paypal, which has gone to great lengths NOT to be regulated as a bank (and can therefore get away with a lot of things that are negative to the buyer/seller).

Hope that helps, anyways, I don't want to create a controversy or turn people off, just figured something that gains both of us some extra cash could be useful - my main objective is to try to sell off some of the things here :-).

Thanks.

And even if you're not a guppy lover, please vote for the most beautiful guppy:grinyes:

Edit button is gone...

I'm also selling a huge piece of driftwood, had it in my 90g before, pics up shortly.

Why does this feel like spam?

I'm sorry if I offended you, it wasn't and is not my intention at all. I saw that Mgamer2000, Sploke, and some others were accepting it as a form of payment, and also promoting a (in IMO) risk-free way to help defray some of the costs of our hobby, and thought why not. Again, IMO, it's just another alternative to paypal or googlecheckout. And if I am doing anything that is against forum rules, MODs, please let me know and I will correct ASAP. Thanks.

Can we please just focus on the items I have listed for sale?

ook you are complaining that they want your social security number but maybe it has been awhile since you signed up with paypal---because they ask for this as well when you are signing up.

If this post was five years ago it would have been about paypal. They have now just become more well known but there are TONS of payment online places...just look through ebay and paypal is not the only one.
