free pleco

free 8 inch pleco in brenham, tx (close to Houston) he's taking up too much space in my 55g.

oh, just a plain ol' common pleco. yes, i know you can get them anywhere but he's just too big for my tank and i have no idea what to do with him.

Trade him in for a smaller one at your LFS.

Yup, same hee in San Antonio, I asked today. THe LFS will trade for a smaller one.

MOst fish stores love to get in big plecos, it means they can sell them for more and don't have to raise them all by themselves. More profit. If you do trade it for credit try getting a bristle nose pleco or a small variety instead. Unless of course you like raising plecos and trading them in and that is fine as well.

thanks everyone I did give him to my lfs but unfortunately they couldn't give me store credit which sucks because they're going to sell him for 12.99. relieved to have that big fish out of my tank.
