freshwater 2 gallon

Applesnails can get to be the size of a baseball. A Mystery Snail might be a choice though, they stay around the size of a large gumball.

thanks every one for the imput i need all the help i can get!! any more suggestions would be helpfu...and i will take you up on that tkos about the 5 gallon tank...that would be a better choice maybe ill even get a 10 ;)

if i get a oto will they starve if i dont have any algae? what do they eat and can i keep just one? :shark:
can i use substrate like sand in the bottom of my tank? or is not recomeneded? :dive:

Otto's can be kept alone. It is sometimes hard to train them to eat algae tabs or veggies like cucumber but some will. I would just wait until you have some decent algae in the tank and then let the little fellow loose.

thank you...i had a pleco before in my 10 gal and it starved cause i didnt haVE ANY ALGAE..THEY WOULDNT EAT THE TABS EITHER. :fairy:
 
Oto Cat

If your afraid of starving you cat you can get algae tabs. And about tank size
if you can get a ten go for it. The bigger the tank the better.
