Freshwater rays

Just out of curiosity...I've never even seen a freshwater ray in a store or anything locally(I'm in Phoenix). Are these hard to keep, and are they generally raised by breeders or what? I'm having kind of a hard time finding out anything on them, although they seem to be pricey and need large tanks...thanks for any help!!

They are hard to keep in the sense that they are extremely sensitive to water conditions and expensive to boot, so if you mess up even a little bit, a large chunk of change is gone.

they are too sensitive for smaller stores to keep them in stock. they arent too expensive like 50 bucks for cheapers ones and i know someone that sells them online and they even come with gurantees.
