Do Frontosa and Altolamprologus Compressiceps do well together? Any1 with this set up? How many adults in any combo of the 2 fish would be comfy in a 150g? 4 and 4? Any tips or things to watch for?

i did 8 fronts and 5 calvus/compressiceps in my 135.... big mistake.

the compressiceps and calvus dont really get along too well regardless of size. the very last one that was put in the tank now runs it. at first i though that they would slowly get use to each other and then stay on their own side of the tank but that didnt happen. the dominate one goes looking for the others and bites them pretty bad.

now i have two other tanks set up and am trying to heal the wounded which will soon find a new home in a friends tank.

what fought with what?

Frontosa are compatible with alt. comps.

In a 150-gal 4 of each species would work. You could probably add 1-2 of each to your stock list (preferably with more females than males if you can get them accurately sexed).
