I have some angel fry and they are not eating. I am feeding baby brine shrimp and some of the fry swim up to the food and then refuse it. Some even try it and then spit it back out. Any thoughts?

How many weeks old are your angelfish fry since free swimming? Also are you feeding live baby brine shrimp or frozen baby brine shrimp? All batches of fry that I have raised always take live baby brine shrimp with no problems. I feed them 3 times a day on the brine shrimp for about 3 to 4 weeks and then slowly ween them off to crushed flake and other foods.
The fry are about 10 days old or 17 days old from when they were eggs. I am feeding live freshly hatched baby brine. Some of the fry like it and I can see growth. Others will not eat it and have died. Is there anything I can do or just hope they will start eating it?
What size tank do you have your fry in and how many do you have? What type of filtration are you using and how often and what amount of water changes do you do? Also what temp do you have the tank set at? How often are you feeding per day? Do you notice the bellies of the fry becoming orange after feeding? You are bond to loose a few here and there, the weeker one's tend to not make it, too much competion for food. I can honesitly say that the angel fry that I raise I have never noticed any fry not wanting to eat the live brine, it is usually when you try to ween them from the brine to flake that they spit it back out.
