I have a few clumps of Cladophora algae balls. Or what I believe to be Cladophora algae clumps. Here's the discussion at TheKrib: http://www.thekrib.com/Plants/Algae/cladophora.html

I believe these are also called Marimo balls, please correct me if I'm wrong.

They're not quite round, but are floating in my tank. The clumps have bits of riccia interspersed inside.

Golf ball sized: $4 plus priority shipping of $5.

Thanks.

thread worthless without pictures!

My RCS likes to play it in, so I pull the tight clumps apart every so often so the shrimp can actually nibble on it.

edit: Or maybe it is hair algae...I dunno.

that does look like something that RCS would like to munch on. do you have quite a few RCS?

I know this is off toppic but are thos wild guppies mixed with the fancies?

Yep. I had a fancy-only tank, but I put some of them into the community tank...it's a nice mix of different guppies now.

I also have a few Endlers in there too!
