I'm starting another specie only tank, so I need a new home for these guys!

Quick facts:


Great for nano tanks.
Young, mixed sex Ember Tetras.
Your shrimps will be safe, provided the shrimps are young adults!

shipping and Price:
Fish will be in Kordon Breather Bags in box with styrofoam.
Fish will not be fed 1.5 days prior to shipping to reduce ammonia.

Each ember tetras $2.Currently I want to sell these guys to one person.
There's about 20 fish. I will try to catch them all, but if I can't(heavily planted tank!) I will refund you the

I have gotten questions about the conditioning of the fish.

There's no magic formula.
The most important thing is to have a safe enviroment, which means a fully planted tank. Dark substrate and somewhat
subdued lightning will also help. These guys are most comfortable when they are in large groups. Now the most
important thing: live food! Two weeks after purchasing these guys, I realized they were very dull. I started feeding
them 1.5 week old mosquito larvae. They really started shooting off colors when I did this. Think about it. This
kicks in the predatory instinct of the fish and stimulates the very same conditions as nature. A certain amount of
surplus live makes the fish want to breed, which makes them color up for members of the opposite sex.
If you take a look at George Farmer's tank, you will see those beautiful ember tetras. His embers are much more
gorgeous than mine!
