fuge materials

I have a 33G acrylic tank,

and I was planning on using 1/4" plexiglass as seperators for inside the fuge...


Does that sound about right ?

I have some 1/8" thick plexi here at work that I can use. If I double it up, and use that instead, do you think it would be good enough? Or should I invest in the 1/4" one?
