Fungus/Fin Rot Treatment for bichir???

I have a senegal bichir who has either fin-rot (less likely) or just major nipping damage (more likely). He was the only fish in the tank with any sign of illness, so I moved him to a 15 hospital tank, and hope he will still be alive when I get home from work. I expect it was at least started as fin-nipping, and perhaps moved on to fungus. I believe he was fine 2-3 days ago, but can't be sure.

Anyone know what I could treat him with that won't cause him more problems, and isn't too hard to find?

Thanks I'll go pick some up before the stores all close for Thanksgiving.

He looks better than I thought he would, but no where near his happy swimming self. Thankfully the rot appears to still be on his fins, so I'm hoping for the best.
