Hi all,
I got a new 50 gallon at x-mas and thanks to you all did not make the same mistake twice. I fishless cycled and all has been going great....... then one of my guppies showed up with a cotton like fungus on his side..ok i understand this is a fungus but i wonder do I treat the whole tank? I have a elephant nose and a snail, is there something i can use that wont harm them?
Thanks Jerbear
tank 50 gal
7 guppies
5 neon tetras
1 turbo snail
1 elephant nose

Does everyone else in the tank look/act/seem healthy? I might consider isolating the one and treating, but if you notice any other changes with the others it may be necessary to treat the whole tank.

thanks for yor quick response ems. everyone else looks ok but i was away for the weekend and when i returned i found a dead guppy...dont know what he died of but i dont usually have deaths!! very well could have been the same illness he was fairly new to the tank so i thought maybe it was just stressed from the move from the pet store.
