I have a problem with my sailfin molly. I found him swimming in the upright position. From time to time he would swim normally and he had a good appetite. After a while his belly sunked and he had scales raised on one side right near the tail (doesn't look like dropsy since it's at the tail). He was breathing heavily and struggled to stay in upright position. I gave him a salt water bath for 30 min with a high concentration of Epsom salt (he is staying in a hospital tank right now with Epsom salt). That bath seemed to help a bit. He was swimming much better. I was worried about that patch of raised scales near the tail so I gave him a methylene blue bath as well and after that transferred him back to the hospital tank. The methylene blue bath stained the damaged area. I think that means he's got fungus and I remember I saw somewhere info on that but cannot find it again.
