Could someone work out how many gallons for a 66 inch round pool and only 18 inches deep, please?

Try and help.. maths is a little rusty! :duh:
Assuming when u say 66" thats total across!
Area=3.14159x66x66=13,685 sq.Ins
x depth 18=246,326 cubic inches
using convert prog on comp. comes out as 888 Gallon(UK) :thud:

Should be 3.1416x33"x33" (pi x r x r)=area=3421
x depth 18"=61581 cubic inches = 222 gallons (UK) :thud:

3.14 (pi) x diameter = circumference of the circle, not area.

pi x radius squared = square inches

so, 3.14 x (33x33) = 3281 sq inches

x depth = cubic inches, 59,058 cubic inches

1 cubic inch = .004329 US liquid gallons

so you have a 255.6 gal tub

I believe that is 212.8 gal UK

Thank you both for your help. I tried converters and got everything from 300 to 1000 gallons.
